Director of Human Resources

Social Vocational Services (SVS), a leader in the field of providing services to adults with developmental disabilities, is seeking to fill an upcoming vacancy for its Central Valley Division’s Director of Human Resources position. Located in Fresno, this position will interact with Regional and Program Directors, Department Heads and staff providing HR guidance on a variety of matters including employee relations, leaves of absence, compensation, WC, unemployment and disability claims, performance management, disciplinary actions, policy implementation and employment law compliance. This position supervises two HR staff in the Fresno Corporate Office. Some light travel to various program offices is required. Position reports to Director of Personnel.

Bachelors Degree in HR/Business or related field and 2-3 years in HR management, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Requires a reliable personal vehicle and applicable auto insurance.
