History of Central Cal SHRM

Central California Society for Human Resource Management (CCSHRM) – #107

Charter Date: December 5, 1968

CCHSRM’S original name was the San Joaquin Valley Personnel Association Chapter of the American Society for Personnel Administration. The organization’s name changed on September 01, 1989 to Human Resource Association of Central California and again in 2017 to Central California Society for Human Recourse Management.

The organization’s name changed on September 01, 1989 from San Joaquin Valley Personnel Association to Human Resource Association of Central California.

The chapter chartered with: 32 members of whom 14 were ASPA Members – remaining members became National members shortly thereafter.

The Original Petition for Charter signed on October 29, 1968.
