Dear Members, Sponsors and Colleagues,
I hope you all are safe, healthy, and promoting wellness with your organizations and communities. We are welcoming February of 2021! February is full of romance, wellness, food, and many of the days celebrated in national- month events during February are food-oriented. However, February also hosts women’s history and Black history month, two important causes that many businesses and nonprofit support. Enjoy the remaining of February to promote wellness, kindness, remembering history innovated the future towards change, and opportunities we could not imagine in that time of history.
The changes around us—whether social, political, technological, scientific, economic, or otherwise require that we help our members to navigate through new and increasingly complex HR related landscapes, which profoundly impact the companies for which we work, our communities, and the profession at large. In many instances, we are responsible to help shape those new to the Society of Human Resources. Our terrific community of professionals, including all our sponsors, is a network on which I have become increasingly reliant when facing these new challenges and opportunities.
This is a great reminder we are connected and remain linked to meet the changes around us. One way to make sure you all check this off your list is to register to our HR Conference coming up in March! Please do not forgot to register to take advantages of new upcoming changes and knowledgeable topics for HR, vast amount information from vendors and sponsors ready to update you all for 2021 changes that would help your daily obligations.
In addition, I would like to thank the Workplace Conference Committee for their time, effort, and dedication in organizing the event. Your hard work does not go unnoticed! It is truly appreciated by both Chapter Board and members.
I look forward to meeting you all on our virtual Workplace Conference on March 16 & 17, 2021!
Respectfully,
Rachna Singh, President
