Working under general supervision, this position is responsible for effectively administering the organization’s leaves of absence and other paid time off programs (Kin Care, Intermittent Leaves) in accordance with applicable state and federal laws. Serves as the primary contact for leader and staff for leave of absence inquiries and has responsibility for coordinating all new leaves, extension requests and facilitating the return-to-work process. The Leave Coordinator communicates regularly with staff and leadership at all levels of the organization regarding the status of employee leaves of absence and must respond timely and accurately to vendors, outside agencies, and representatives from regulatory bodies during the course of his/her duties.
