Welcome to June 2023
Is everyone enjoying this Spring weather at the beginning of Summer? I know I am, that 100 plus degree weather can make people irritable, and it is just right around the corner. So, you as an HR Professional must be a little more understanding with the moods of your employees that weather can bring to those working in the heat outside, driving in vehicles and just working in a plant or office.
Now that school is out, those calls start rolling in from the kids at home. Be patient, be kind to your employees, everyone has stages of life they must get through. Believe me, the cost of childcare doesn’t get any easier in the summer either. Sometimes it can add extra stress for the employee dealing with it, they might just need an extra break to gather their thoughts or just breathe.
This month is full of great speakers, for our luncheon June 20th we have Brenda Budke, Sierra HR Partners. Brenda is always so kind to provide our CCSHRM members with great information. She will speak on Quiet Quitting and Enhancing Employee Engagement. Don’t miss out, seating is limited. Remember we are back at Pardini’s.
