Position Summary:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) under general director of the Director of Human Resources will leverage their business acumen to lead HR Programs and processes for their assigned site(s) and/or region(s). You will consult with leaders on all aspects of people leadership to ensure the best selection practices, positive employee relations, supporting the needs of the business while at the same time ensuring the fair and equitable treatment of our employees. The incumbent may lead small to medium size projects and will track project goals and tasks, report on progress, make recommendations and help with implementation. The BPHR will also ensure consistent and equitable application of organizational policies and procedures across a functional area or location and execute on talent initiatives. The BPHR will act as a change agent to enable the growth & development of our leaders, employees, and organization.

 

Essential Functions:

Consults with assigned managers and employees on moderately complex HR processes, procedures, precedents, and initiatives engaging appropriate Human Resources Leadership as required.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to assigned leaders (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations) and engage with Employee Relations as needed.
Manage daily employee relations and perform initial investigations of employee complaints and alleged policy violations, escalating where necessary.
Lead and/or participate in disciplinary meetings, involuntary and voluntary terminations.
Partners with assigned leaders to understand and execute the organizations human resources and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
Advise on effective headcount/resource management and partner with talent acquisition to ensure a fair and effective recruitment process.
Partners with Talent Acquisition team to track and report on open positions and help manage the position requisition process for internal transfers to ensure accuracy of postings and facilitate internal movement.
Assists the Talent Acquisition team in sourcing qualified candidates, participating in job fairs, and onboarding of new staff.
Lead and/or participate in HR projects and deployments and providing change management leadership where needed.
Partners with HR and assigned Leaders to implement and monitor the success of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
Develop and/or deploy various communication materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, termination letters, and other employment related correspondence).
Be knowledgeable of HRIS and update and utilize system appropriately. Run HR related reports as required.
Coordinate and serve as an HR facilitator of New Employee Orientations and other required employee trainings.
Gather information and participate in unemployment hearings as necessary.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Travel may be required where the role includes the support of multiple locations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Responsibilities:

HIPAA Compliance – Responsible for being aware of and complying with HIPAA regulations and security requirements.
Ensures compliance with all CSV, local, state, and federal regulations.
Must maintain a positive, proactive demeanor and provide a welcoming environment for employees, applicants, and individuals from outside agencies.

Must be able to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or combination of equivalent work experience.
-Minimum of 4 year’s human resources generalist or HR functional experience in progressively responsible roles supporting a diversity of functional groups including executive level employees.
-Experience directly supporting leaders in an HRBP capacity is preferred.
-Experience in ADP Workforce Now preferred.
-PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP highly desired.
-Must have a demonstrated capacity to work well with others, be well organized, and have above average language, writing, and public relations skills.
-Proven ability to effectively interact with all organizational levels in a multicultural environment and build strong, trusted relationships.
-Experience, exposure, and comport with a variety of HR facets.
-Ability to function independently, with minimal supervision, and thrive in a fast past and sometimes ambiguous environment.
-Strong use of independent judgement to identify and anticipate leaders needs and make recommendations for implementation.
-Advanced level using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
-Strong organizational, motivational, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with grace and efficiency.
-Strong team player and ability to function in a matrixed co-leadership environment.
-Working knowledge and application of federal and state employment laws.
-Must adhere to Clinica Sierra Vista’s employee health/immunization requirements or provide valid approved exemption request.
