Human Resources Coordinator/FLC Liaison

Agriland Farming Company, Inc., one of the Nation’s top ten permanent crop growers, and located in the Central, San Joaquin Valley, has an immediate opening for a Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator/FLC Liaison. This position will provide administrative and technical services within the HR Department and work closely with Farm Labor Contractors on compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

•        Perform HR administrative duties;

•        Coordinate new hire paperwork, orientation and on-boarding of new hires;

•        Possess and demonstrate a sound knowledge of management-labor relations, federal and state employment laws, and the ability to provide guidance to management in compliance with those requirements;

•        Keep up to date on regulatory changes including pending legislation and ensures that field management is aware of impactful changes;

•        Communicating benefit related information to employees;

•        Develop strategies to ensure contract labor maintains the same level of due diligence and accountability in its safety programs as internal labor;

•        Verify and maintain appropriate I-9 documentation;

•        Perform any other agricultural administrative and accounting duties as required or assigned

•        Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish;

•        Ability to be relatable, personable, and productive within a team environment;

•        Excellent organizational and planning skills;

•        Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of professionalism;

•        Requires attention to detail and ability to conduct multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy, prioritizing and meeting deadlines;

•        Able to demonstrate professionalism, poise, tact and diplomacy;

•        Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications;

•        Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in related field;

•        3+ years of recent and related experience in human resources, knowledge of Department of Labor and CalOSHA regulations;

•        Must have a valid California Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record
